Kidz In Step, founded by Jennifer Andrews-Smith in 2004, has a group of highly-experienced, like-minded instructors who share an enthusiasm for children and their passion for dance and gymnastics. We are the largest and most comprehensive dance & gymnastics facility in Covington, so you can feel secure knowing that your children will work with the most knowledgeable, and skilled instructors.
Kidz In Step is one of a few studios East of Atlanta to receive top awards, which recognizes the studio instructors knowledge and ability and "represents a way of doing business that places the children first."
We're unique because we allow you to choose the best class for you, whether it be dance, gymnastics, or tumbling. Only Kidz In Step encourages and allows you to make transitions from our once a week classes to our program with a competitive edge or to our Community Performance Teams! Great Programs! Our classes, camps and workshops are designed to excite and encourage every child. We want every student to enjoy his or her time with us. Our goal goes beyond just teaching children to dance or tumble. We use dance & gymnastics as a tool for teaching life lessons…responsibility, hard work, dedication,
and so much more.
Great Teachers! Our staff is made up of highly-trained professionals who want your child to succeed. Each instructor takes her own workshops throughout the year to keep up with the newest styles, ideas, and curriculums. Our instructors do more than teach steps and combinations. They work hard to ensure a positive, motivational experience for all.
Great Customer Service! A desk assistant or manager is always available during class times to assist you and answer your questions. Email Newsletters are distributed weekly to keep parents informed and up-to-date. Parents can
access all newsletters on our lobby parent info board each and every month.
Great Environment! Kidz In Step is a safe place for you and your family to spend time. Our lobby provides space for parents to socialize with each other or to relax with a book or magazine. We also have an area for siblings to play or have an after-school snack.
Great Classrooms! All of our dance studios have safe flooring to prevent injuries, mirrored walls to enhance learning, multi-level Ballet barres to accommodate different heights, and individual climate-control for your child’s comfort in class. Big windows allow viewing of all classes.You can be confident that your child is safe and having fun.
Great Performances! Our annual performance is an organized, uplifting show which you can be proud to have your child take part in. We strive to produce family-friendly entertainment using age-appropriate music, costumes and choreography. Clearly-defined procedures ensure a stress-free event.
